I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in a dental office. From the moment I arrived for my appointment, it was clear there was just a lack of communication and organization. I was truly hoping for a positive experience with patience and understanding as I was there due to dental anxiety and a referral from a different provider. It was clear there was a lack of communication between Dr and assistants, which I understand, I’ve just never experienced it occurring to this extent in front of me. The bedside manner was just not good and the level of care left a lot to be desired. Everyone has bad days and I understand that - but I felt incredibly judged and left in tears. I’ve never experienced anything like I did at this office. The appointment felt extremely chaotic and if I wasn’t in such dire need of the procedure being done, I wish I could have left. I’m not one to write reviews, however, this situation absolutely warranted one. I would not recommend coming here if you get anxious about dental procedures to any degree.

Dr. Sondra Avant and her entire staff were absolutely wonderful throughout my treatment. I came in extremely nervous and scared because of an infected root canal and the need for an apicoectomy, but Dr. Avant was so patient, compassionate, and reassuring every step of the way. Her skill and experience truly show in her work. I expected to be in severe pain, but my discomfort was very minor, which I believe is a direct reflection of her expertise and gentle care. She took the time to explain everything, helped calm my fears, and made me feel comfortable during the entire process. The staff was also amazing — kind, professional, caring, and welcoming from beginning to end. I am so grateful for the excellent care I received and would highly recommend Dr. Avant to anyone needing endodontic treatment.

I was referred here from ultimate dental for my tooth extraction. Dr Avant is AMAZING!! Her and the dental assistants did a perfect job! I’ve had root canals and I can’t believe how good of a job they did. Dr Avants attention to detail is a true professional. The whole team is amazing. I would recommend to ANYONE that needs dental work done here. Above and beyond happy with this place!!! Thank you guys so much!!!

I absolutely love this endodontist, I went to her over 10 years ago and again yesterday and she is so incredibly caring and sweet. I was super worried about pain post-procedure because every root canal I have had resulted in quite a good bit of pain afterwards. She listened to my concerns and ordered me some pain meds though turned out that other than some very minor discomfort, my fears were unfounded this time. I imagine it’s her skill level and the use of laser treatment that left me absolutely astonished this morning. But if you want a fast, easy, almost zero pain experience with the absolute sweetest most caring endodontist ever, pick Sondra Avant! I also arrived super unprepared, missing my referral sheet and my drivers license and the front desk staff handled everything with grace and efficiency. The assistant was super friendly and made note of everything I told her about my tooth. Hands down the BEST experience ever! I was feeling pretty anxious because it’s always kind of traumatic to have shots in your mouth and dental procedures and everyone kept asking if I was ok because I definitely had to take some cleansing breaths to calm my nervous system. My experience with this Dr was not pleasant, I had a lot of pain, she was not very sympathetic, bedside manner horrible. And on top of that she charged me for a root canal and did so on a tooth that should have been extracted, this tooth was not able to be saved. I would not recommend at all this Dr or practice.
